The commission was to provide Facilities Management Services to a Investment and Financial Institute in South Africa. The initial appointment is for the provision of a managing agent role with the intention for the commission transferring to a managing contractor role.

As managing agent, an on site dedicated Facilities Manager responsible for the delivery of the banks corporate real estate functions which include the following:

  • Management of all service provider staff
  • Overall responsibility for delivery of FM services
  • OH&S, EH&S and compliance issues
  • Management reporting
  • Performance Management of suppliers
  • Managing the relationships between all parties
  • Financial reporting, account management and annual budget preparation
  • Monitoring of all activity across the site and liaising with local management
